Heron dipperLog 32+ Groundwater Data Logger

The most economical data logger in our lineup, the dipperLog 32 has a maximum storage capcity of 32,000 data points and expected battery life up to 5 years.

The dipperLog 32, only available in a 30m/100ft pressure range, is a reliable solution for short term monitoring of groundwater levels, wetland studies, pump and slug testing.

All Heron loggers are available in various deployment options:

Suspended Version – pull the dipperLog out of the well to download

Direct Read Version – enables you to do real time readings and download your data while the dipperLog is still in the well.

Reel Version – a portable solution, ideal for short term slug and pump testing


The dedicated, intuitive software makes the dipperLog quick and easy to program and launch. Simply recover your data, save your findings in a tabular display and graph, view both parameters side by side in a split screen.

Note:In “Log Time” mode the dipperLog increases the readings from 1 second by an additional 1 second for 255 readings. The final reading interval is 4 min. and 14 sec. and the logger then stops logging. This mode logs for a total of 9 hours before stopping.
Barometric CompensationThe first reading can be used for all readings unless a barLog is used. Automatic compensation when using a designated barLog. Manual compensation in Excel.
